From Florence we traveled on to Venice. The clouds suggested that our brief time in Venice was not going to be optimal. It was COLD. And the rain was COLD. And the wind was COLD. And the clouds were heavy. But Venice was still beautiful, so I can't wait to see it in the sun. We were very rushed in Venice. We went to a glass factory, toured the Palazzo Ducale and the Basilica San Marco and went on a gondola ride. We were only there for half a day. We most definitely want to go back. I missed almost the entire commentary on the tours, so we'll get right to the pictures.
