A Visit with the Queen 8.29.09

Okay, so maybe she wasn't expecting us. Maybe she didn't throw open the gates. Or, maybe we just went to London to see the changing of the guard. If you're only going to have one chance to see it, get a good spot. From our vantage point, this was BORING. The band marched past us, through the gates and we couldn't see them anymore. We could just hear the faint strains of the ABBA music they were playing.

This was the best view we got, and this was before things really got started.

Jake was clearly excited about the whole thing.

Our next stop was the Baden Powell House, for a little homage to Boy Scouting, as we have two future scouts in the making.

And this is our final stop. Look familiar? Anyone? Anyone? I'm sure most of you know. Brandon would try to tell you that the photo he took is better, but I think we can all agree that as far as composition and perspective are concerned, the only things missing from my shot are the fab four themselves. Yes, that's right. This is the zebra crossing at Abbey Road.

And this is Abbey Road Studios. Love is all you need.
